2024 Ducati Streetfighter V4 Sports Motorcycle Review Specs

The 2024 Ducati Streetfighter V4 Sports Motorcycle represents Ducati’s interpretation of the extreme naked sports motorcycle, combining superbike performance with upright ergonomics. From its debut, it established new reference points in the super-sports-naked category. Its aggressive and minimalist styling, defined by a front end inspired by the Joker character from comics, quickly captured the attention of enthusiasts.

At the heart of the adrenaline-pumping “Fight Formula” lies an audacious vision: strip the Panigale V4 of its fairings, install a high and wide handlebar, keep the weight feather-light at 392 lb, unleash 208 hp from the roaring Desmosedici Stradale engine, and equip it with biplane wings and cutting-edge electronics. The result is a machine that amplifies performance and stirs emotion, delivering the Panigale thrill in naked, untamed form.

2024 Ducati Streetfighter V4 Sports Motorcycle – Features and Specs

Ergonomics

Compared to the Panigale V4, the rider’s position has been redefined to suit naked-bike dynamics. The seat height is 845 mm, and traditional clip-on handlebars are replaced by a wide, upright handlebar that improves leverage and control. A seat with 60 mm of padding and a less extreme footpeg position provides a balance between sport-focused riding and everyday comfort.

The 2024 Ducati Streetfighter V4 Sports Motorcycle also benefits from ergonomic refinements introduced on the Panigale V4 family. The reshaped fuel tank offers improved support during braking and cornering. While maintaining the Panigale’s stylistic identity, the tail section—supported by a steel subframe—has been redesigned to enhance passenger comfort and provide the rider with more longitudinal space.

Engine

The 1,103 cc Desmosedici Stradale engine is at the core of the 2024 Ducati Streetfighter V4 Sports Motorcycle’s power. In Euro 5 configuration, this 90-degree V4 delivers 208 hp (153 kW) at 13,000 rpm and 123 Nm of torque at 9,500 rpm, placing it at the top of the naked segment. Output closely aligns with that of the Panigale V4.

A dedicated engine map allows riders to manage this performance effectively in road conditions. The 2024 model incorporates updates first introduced on the Panigale V4 from 2022 onward. The shorter final gearing compared to the Panigale V4 increases rear-wheel torque by 10 per cent, delivering sharper throttle response.

For riders seeking pure exhilaration, the optional full-racing Ducati Performance exhaust by Akrapovič propels output to an astonishing 220 hp and 130 Nm of torque, all while slashing overall weight by 6 kg—turning the 2024 Ducati Streetfighter V4 Sports Motorcycle into an even fiercer beast.

Maintenance Intervals

Valve clearance adjustment, known as Desmo Service, is required every 24,000 km. General servicing intervals are set at 12,000 km or 12 months.

Chassis

Ducati’s Front Frame architecture, inspired by MotoGP, underpins the 2024 Streetfighter V4 Sports Motorcycle. In this setup, the Desmosedici Stradale engine serves as a structural element. The compact front frame section, weighing just 4 kg, mounts directly to the engine’s upper crankcase and cylinder heads.

By using the engine to achieve the required rigidity, Ducati engineers reduced frame mass and length while increasing the stiffness-to-weight ratio. This layout also allows for a compact design around the rider’s seating area.

The chassis is completed by a trellis subframe fixed to the Front Frame and secured below the rear cylinder head. The rear suspension linkage connects directly to the engine via a forged aluminium component and operates through a single-sided cast aluminium swingarm.

For 2024, the swingarm pivot is positioned 4 mm higher, an exclusive chassis change that increases anti-squat characteristics and enhances stability and precision during acceleration—refinements pioneered by Ducati engineers to further separate the 2024 Ducati Streetfighter V4 Sports Motorcycle from typical naked motorcycles. A slight shift in weight distribution toward the front improves corner-entry accuracy. Steering geometry includes a 24.5-degree head angle and 100 mm of trail.

Refined suspension

The 2024 Ducati Streetfighter V4 Sports Motorcycle is equipped with a 43 mm Showa Big Piston Fork that is fully adjustable for compression, rebound and spring preload. The fork is paired with Brembo radial brake callipers and a Sachs steering damper. At the rear, a fully adjustable Sachs shock absorber is mounted directly to the engine through a forged aluminium support.

Rims and tires

The standard 2024 Ducati Streetfighter V4 Sports Motorcycle features five-spoke cast aluminium wheels, while the V4 S version is equipped with Marchesini three-spoke forged aluminium alloy wheels. Both versions use Pirelli Diablo Rosso Corsa IV tyres, sized 120/70 ZR17 at the front and 200/60 ZR17 at the rear, combining track capability with road versatility.

Braking system with Brembo Stylema® callipers

Braking performance is provided by Brembo Stylema monobloc callipers. Each front calliper uses four 30 mm pistons acting on 330 mm discs, delivering strong and consistent stopping power. The rear brake consists of a 245 mm disc with a two-piston calliper. The system is supported by ABS Cornering EVO, controlled by a lightweight 9.1MP unit to maintain stability during braking at lean.

Racing tank

The aluminium fuel tank increases capacity from 16 to 17 litres and has been reshaped to provide better rider support during braking and cornering. Compared to the Panigale V4, the lower portion has been modified to accommodate a seat with increased padding for comfort. As in track-focused motorcycles, part of the tank volume extends beneath the rider’s seat. The forward section, not occupied by fuel, houses electronic components, including the battery.
