It is easier to roll up, one worries less clutch, but it is all the same necessary to remain on the positive ratio, the more so as there is no more first on the 500 CR of Governed. What changes a little is the principle of operation? The engine pushes much less with braking, inertia and the blow of piston is much less important than on the motorcycle of origin. In short, one will not say that this 500 CR prepared is of any rest, but it is nevertheless more accessible than her sister entirely from origin.

With final of this test it appeared very enriching – since it was for me a first one on 500 2-times – one can note that Honda at the time already proposed a motorcycle led in term of frame. Although it is not made for “gas-scrubbing apparatus”, balance, the handiness and the promptness of the 500 CR are not as distant as that from the current standards. On their side, the suspensions are not very reassuring when that thrashes, but they are not to do any more with the street.

The engine, is to him is a little “too much” for an ordinary human being. I am not sure that the motorcycle felt my 65 kilos very wet… For one 500 2-times, it is necessary to be able to improvise at any moment not to be made surprise by mechanics. Honda CR500RS Pro, it is still another history, one feels advantage on a modern motorcycle of cross-country race. The engine is easier and especially less cheating than its homologous stock. But when one was accustomed to the comfort of the version of origin, CR 500 prepared appears more rigid to us and much healthier in its reactions.

Despite everything, it also remains physical to control, while getting more pleasure with its handlebar. In short, piloting 500 2-times, it is a whole art, that is not addressed to the sensitive souls and that is not learned in a few minutes. And even if that hurt with the arms are worth the blow to test, at least once…
