The Main Functions
Revolutionary backward tilt, liquid-cooled, DOHC four-stroke power plant, with four titanium alloy valves based on YZ250F, increased sixth gear and wide gear ratio, and other modifications made to make it ideal for endurance racing.
WR250F uses the same double-sided beam frame as the winning YZ250F. It brings the engine and fuel tank close to the central mass of the bicycle and thus has exceptionally lightweight handling characteristics. The 2019 WR250F Yamaha Dirt Bike is equipped with a 2-gallon fuel tank, a multi-function Enduro computer, 18-inch rear wheels, O-ring chains, skid plates, and Enduro spec tires, and can win immediately.
Keihin’s 44mm throttle body fuel injection system has been adjusted for endurance riding, ensuring a smooth throttle response and easy start-up in almost all situations. Also, the electric start can reduce the fatigue of the rider—the industry-leading fully adjustable KYB spring-loaded front fork with speed-sensitive damping and KYB rear shock absorbers. Enduro specific settings adjust each of them.
The revolutionary, backward-sloping high-performance liquid-cooled 4-stroke 4-valve fuel injection engine has been tuned for endurance riding, with model-specific cylinder heads, pistons, camshafts, transmission interiors, ECU settings and more. Push-button electric start makes 2019 WR250F Yamaha Dirt Bike start easy and convenient.
The fuel injection system uses 3-D mapped electronic control for fuel injection and ignition timing. These challenges are optimized for endurance challenges. In all types of situations, a 6-speed aspect ratio gearbox is used to increase traction. The YZ radiator has an electric fan to ensure stable cooling performance under narrow and slow driving conditions.
Chassis / Suspension
The all-aluminum double-sided crossbeam frame similar to the YZ250F off-road motorcycle has strength, lightness, and durability under all riding conditions. It is specially adjusted for the needs of long-distance endurance riding. The removable aluminum rear subframe is made of square cross-section tubes to reduce weight.
The industry’s favorite fully adjustable KYB spring-loaded front fork with Kashima Coat-coated speed-sensing damping and a KYB rear shock absorber, Kashima Coat, and a large 50mm piston. The front fork and rear shock absorbers are specially adjusted for endurance riding. Special Enduro tires are used to maximize traction while providing excellent wear resistance.
The built-in Enduro computer is standard, with speedometer, odometer, average speed, clock, etc. 2019 WR250F Yamaha Dirt Bike has headlights, taillights, and anti-skid plates. The side bracket is a standard configuration for increased rider convenience.
