Riding big equates to better riding. With the Ducati 2020 Scrambler 1100 Motorcycle, Land of Joy welcomes the most demanding and capable riders in an upgraded and uncompromising form. More power, more technology, and more high-quality content. Unlike anything you’ve heard, the story screams out in a way that has never been heard before.
Even though it’s more extensive and robust, it’s still agile and responsive. It was all part of Scrambler’s plan all along. There are a lot of technological components and a lot of work put into Monster’s 1100 because of Monster’s engine. It’s the most potent scrambler ever. Due to the seat’s height and width, it can comfortably accommodate two persons. As with the fork, the tank can hold a lot of gas and has been extended and renovated. Scrambler, on the other hand, became a legend because of his love of cycling. There are no longer any boundaries to the land of contentment.
Ducati 2020 Scrambler 1100 Motorcycle – Features
Although it draws inspiration from the classic Scrambler 1100 from the ’70s, the Scrambler 1100 stays faithful to the “Land of Joy” attitude. The bike’s well-balanced proportions make it modest yet elegant, ensuring the riders’ comfort while still providing excellent handling. Compared to previous Ducati Scrambler models, this one is bigger.
Improved performance and good looks are provided by the 320mm dual front brake discs and new fork and rear shock absorber. First plates and the Scrambler 1100’s high-performance swing arm work together to create a unique look. Genuine metals like steel and aluminum also help to improve the overall finish quality.
Fewer plastic and rubber parts have been used, as well as a decrease in the number of parts used because of the need for more detail and simplicity. Scrambler’s aluminum side panels, both old and modern, make this vehicle instantly recognizable. Make it easy for people to identify it.
Riders and passengers alike will find the seats on the new Scramblers to be far more extensive and more comfortable than the Scrambler 800s. Ducati’s symbol has also been embroidered on the rear of this cover. Screaming Power is conveyed via the Scrambler 1100’s dual tailpipe while the two silencers blend in with the motorcycle’s rear and high plate holder ideally.
The Ducati 2020 Scrambler 1100 Motorcycle’s dashboard is separated into two pieces. All of the motorcycles in the collection have a spherical form. Above and to the right of the headlights, you’ll find this all-digital gadget. The scale of the RPM indication is similar to that of a bike speedometer from the 1970s (i.e., placed down in the instrument assembly). As the number of engine assessments grows, the clockwise (right to the left) light becomes brighter. The circular part also shows the selected riding mode and traction control level, in addition to the fuel level. The supplementary information includes details on the first and second journeys, as well as the remaining mileage, air temperature, and grip heating function (available as a device on the Scrabbler 1100). The optional Ducati multimedia system is offered as an additional when a Bluetooth module is installed; this information is included in the second circular section.
With a 1079cc L-twin two-valve engine that is Euro 4 compatible and oil/air-cooled, the Scrambler 1100 is powered by the Ducati Scrambler. The Ducati 2020 Scrambler 1100 Motorcycle engine has a 98 mm bore and a 71.5 mm stroke, perfect for scrabbling. To improve acceleration and range, the engine has been overhauled. The Ducati Scrambler 1100’s Desmodue engine is housed in a lightweight aluminum shell with a clutch and alternator. Two machine-made belt covers add to the essence of the piece.
One 55 mm entire ride with wire throttle body and two sub butterfly injectors delivers smooth power delivery and precise control for the Ducati Scrambler 1100’s twin-cylinder Desmodue engine. It makes sure that the cylinders’ fuel mixture is accurate. As a result, each cylinder has two spark plugs and a supplementary air system.
By using a 16-degree valve overlap angle, the maximum pulling power is available to everyone. Due to these solutions, Scrambler’s L-twin engine can produce an output of up to 86.4 horsepower at 7,500 rpm and a work of 86.4 Nm at 4,750 rpm. 6-speed gearbox with a hydraulically regulated wet multiplier for the clutch. During downward shifting, the clutch’s servo-assisted slipper function reduces rear-wheel instability.
Because of the larger diameter of the exhaust pipes on the Ducati Scrambler 1100, they sound better. The exhaust system includes a low-slung catalytic converter, twin steel silencers with aluminum sleeves, diecast aluminum, caps, and four aluminum silencer cores (two).
Like the Scrambler, this twin-cylinder engine is meant to be simple and accessible. As a bonus, it contains 12,000 kilometers of competitive rest periods (every 7,500 miles).
The Ducati 2020 Scrambler 1100 Motorcycle has a new steel trail frame with two top spars. Like the Ducati Scrambler, its engine-hugging structure has an aluminum rear subframe. The 24.5 ° steering head angle and 110 mm offset on the forks make city driving as dramatic as negotiating a mountain hairpin. The aluminum fork yokes provide more inter-fork space than the Scrambler 800’s steel counterparts. The wide handlebars and long 1,514mm wheelbase of the Scrambler makes navigating the city streets easy. Scrambler 1100 has a new riding posture because of the bike’s enlarged size: the seat fit peg is much broader, and the handlebars are front and bottom.
The steel gasoline tank has a strange teardrop design and holds 15 liters. The frame and chassis configuration of the Ducati Scrambler 1100 makes it a pleasurable and easy-to-ride motorbike. The Scrambler 1100 is simple to ride and agile, giving unlimited fun on city streets and vast roads, despite its increased size and performance.
Reverse shock with upside-down 45mm fork, spring preload and rebound damping adjustment, and Ohlin’s suspension (Kayaba on Scrambler 1100 and Scrambler 1100 Special) are included on the sport version of the Ducati Scrambler 1100. In addition to being suitable for urban streets and basic off-road terrain, both tires offer a 150mm wheel travel. There’s no other motorcycle quite like the Ducati Scrambler 1100 when it comes to allowing riders to express themselves in as many places as possible.
Wheels and Tires
Essential wheels on the Scrambler 1100 are brand new aluminum 10-spoke wheels that are unique for flat tracks. Hubs used to be built of thin, cross-crossed spokes, and this design harkens back to those days. To make the front wheel 3.5 x 18 ′′ and the rear wheel 5 x 17 ′′ lighter. For the front tires, they chose the Pirelli MT60 RS 120/80 ZR18 Enduro, and for the rear, they selected the Pirelli 180/55 ZR17. The Ducati Scrambler 1100’s Pirelli front tires were designed specifically for the bike.
