2021 Trail 125 ABS Honda Minimoto Bike

How can you improve on the world’s favorite motorcycle? What about an adventure-ready dual-sport version? Meet the 2021 Trail 125 ABS Honda Minimoto Bike, a modernized version of our classic Honda Trail 90 and Trail 110 models. The Trail 125 ABS, like the other members of our Minimoto family (the Super Cub, Monkey, and Grom), is designed for how we ride today—except this bike can go even farther. Construction is tough. There is plenty of ground clearance. It’s light. Also included is our world-renowned semi-automatic, no-clutch gearbox. All of this adds to an extraordinary machine in town and even better on a dirt road. So, what are you holding out for? Riders have understood for more than 50 years that the size of the bike on your next trip is not as important as the amount of adventure in your bike!

The all-new 2021 Trail 125 ABS Honda Minimoto Bike resurrects a cherished brand by infusing a hearty dose of realistic appearance and hassle-free technology to produce a miniMOTO that, like the Super Cub and Monkey, pays respect to the past while effortlessly adapting to current lives.

The Honda CT125 got fantastic reviews and calls for a production model after debuting as a concept motorcycle at the 46th Tokyo Motor Show in 2019. With the launch of the 2021 Honda Trail 125, the famous Super Cub C125’s scope is expanded to accommodate casual riding in rural settings, including two-track roads and trails.

It was achieved by fortifying the C125 chassis, increasing suspension travel, and boosting the fuel range. The engine is the same 125cc, single-cylinder, four-stroke, overhead-camshaft design with two valves, but with a higher-mounted air intake and upswept exhaust to improve low-end and intermediate power. The Trail 125, like the Super Cub, features a four-speed semiautomatic gearbox. The engine guard protects against obstructions such as huge boulders and tree trunks.

2021 Trail 125 ABS Honda Minimoto Bike – Features

Performance

125cc Fuel-Injected Engine

Nobody can compete with Honda’s engine reputation and design, and despite its small size, the Trail 125 ABS is a powerhouse in terms of performance, agility and dependability. Air conditioning also makes things simple.

Easy To Park

Because the 2021 Trail 125 ABS Honda Minimoto Bike is small, it’s simple to park in town, load and unload from a motorhome, and store when not in use. A Trail 125 is always welcome!

Hydraulic Disc Brakes

The Trail 125 ABS has a 220mm front single disc brake and a 190mm rear disc brake for excellent stopping power. There’s even front-wheel ABS as standard.

Upswept Exhaust and Intake

Mud motorcycles raise their intake and exhaust to improve clearance and protect them from dirt and water. That’s precisely what we’ve done with the Trail 125 ABS. The exhaust also has a heat shield and adds to the overall look of this fantastic small bike.

Trail-Tuned Gearing

The Trail 125 ABS’s final-drive gearing differed from the Super Cub’s. Adding three teeth to the rear sprocket improves hill-climbing performance on trails and dirt roads, the locations you’ll want to explore.

Technology

Four-Speed Semi-Automatic Transmission

Like a regular motorbike, the Trail 125 ABS has a four-speed semi-automatic gearbox that you shift with your left foot. But here’s the kicker: there’s no clutch to contend with. Furthermore, the heel-toe shifter on Trail 125 makes operating even simpler, particularly in boots.

LED Lighting

Light bulbs from the past? Leave them alone. The Trail 125 ABS comes standard with a complete LED lighting kit that is lighter, brighter and lasts longer. The headlamp is typical in style, but the indicators are squared off for a rough appearance.

Electric Starting

Turn the key, press a button, and you’re on your way—or the trail. But, since adventure may be unpredictable, we’ve included a starter lever on the Trail 125 ABS, precisely like the original Trail 90 and Trail 110.

Style

Ready For On- and Off-Road Fun Adventures

The Trail 125’s most prominent feature is that it allows you to ride in many different locales. On the road, it’s a fun and practical commuter. Its small weight, skid plate, spark arrestor, and ground clearance make it a delight to ride in the mud. Furthermore, since it has a license plate, you may hang it in regions where only off-road motorcycles are permitted, such as state and national parks.

Rugged Steel Backbone Chassis

The Trail 125 ABS is designed for exploration. That’s why it features a strengthened steel backbone chassis. The design facilitates getting on and off while giving excellent ground clearance and a rugged, ready-for-anything appearance.

Roomy seating

The Trail 125 ABS boasts an incredible, expansive cockpit with a 31.5-inch seat height and a higher handlebar that makes it comfortable in almost any riding environment, from urban commutes to dirt roads.

Multi-Function Digital Instruments

The Trail 125 ABS is fully equipped with instrumentation. The digital display includes a speedometer, odometer, A&B trip meters, a fuel gauge, a clock, and a low/high beam indication.

Round Headlight

The circular headlamp of the Trail 125 ABS seems antique, but its LED performance is entirely modern, providing excellent lighting and visibility.

Underseat Fuel Tank

The Trail 125 ABS has a fantastic range because of its 1.4-gallon fuel tank (more significant than the Super Cub’s) and excellent fuel economy. The tank filling is conveniently located beneath the seat.

Standard Engine Skid Plate

Who knows where your experiences will lead you? That’s why the Trail 125 ABS has a full skid plate and a pair of front brush-guard tubes, as well as 6.5 inches of ground clearance.

Cargo Rack

Do you need to bring camping equipment or supplies to escape the zombie apocalypse? Look at the vast, flat rear load rack on the Trail 125 ABS. With our additional cargo box, you’ll be prepared for anything!

Accessories

Are you riding in the cold? Check out the heated grips as an alternative. Another popular feature is the optional rear cargo compartment. What about including a 12-volt electricity connector as well—it will keep your gadgets charged while you’re on the move and even allow you to operate a GPS.

Handling

Standard ABS

Our front-wheel Anti-Lock Braking System may greatly assist in coming to a controlled stop in less-than-ideal situations, such as on wet pavement or other damaged surfaces. It’s a nice feature to have whether you’re using your new Trail 125 as a commuter or simply for pleasure since it allows you to stop more confidently.

17-Inch Wire-Spoke Wheels

Real dirt motorcycles, like the new Trail 125 ABS, have spoked wheels. They’re huge enough to move along quickly even on rough terrain and sturdy enough to ride on dirt roads (or gnarly city streets).

Front Suspension

We increased the suspension travel on the new Trail 125 ABS for a better off-road ride. Rubber accordion boots protect the telescopic fork from dust while giving it a cool retro look.

Twin Rear Shocks

The blackout dual rear shocks and coil springs on the Terrain 125 ABS not only look good, but they also perform an excellent job of smoothing out the road and trail. Preload adjustment is simple.

Centerstand

A center stand makes sense on a bike like the Trail 125 ABS. It provides more parking possibilities than a side stand, particularly if you have goods on the rack. It also simplifies repairing your bike.
