Latest Update: TVS Motor and BMW Motorrad became Partners to make new motorcycles in India.
BMW Motorrad is agreed to partner with TVS Motor to develop a new motorbikes series with below 500 cc (cubic centimeters) engine sizes. In the deal both companies will sell motorcycles through their own channels, TVS said in a statement to India’s National Stock Exchange today.

“In view of changing markets for motorcycle, demographic developments and increasing environmental demands we are expanding our product range so as to tap into fresh growth potential,” Stephan Schaller, head of BMW Motorrad, said in the statement. “This means that in future we will be able to offer vehicles in smaller capacity classes in addition to the BMW Motorrad core segments.”

Remember that TVS Motor Company is the India’s fourth largest two wheeler manufacturer company and Now TVS had made partnership with BMW to develop and make a completely new motorcycle series. This New motorcycle series engine sizes will be below 500 cubic centimeters.
BMW make partnership with TVS Motor by keeping the sale factor in mind. The Strategy behind BMW hand shake with TVS is that they want more sales and this is the best way to get it. Produce motorcycles with smaller engines to fill growing demand of small engine motorcycles in different countries for example India.
