Electrofusion Cylinder (KP)
An all-new electrofusion coating on the aluminium cylinder walls enhances heat transfer for consistent power output. It further enables closer piston-to-cylinder clearances for more power. It also gives excellent wear and seizure resistance.

Multi-Plate Clutch
The new clutch actuation arm rides in needle bearings for better action. The new clutch basket and new hub ride on involute splines and are fastened with the circlip instead of a bolt for easier servicing.
6-Speed Transmission
The shift forks’ ends are hard-chrome for durability. The shift drum uses an all-new bearing sealed on one side to raise the transmission’s oil level for better lubrication and added durability.
Bottom-Link Uni-Trak® Rear Suspension (KP)
The new rocker arm is made of cast aluminium to reduce overall weight. The rear shock offers 0-3-turn adjustable rebound damping, with a stiffer spring and damping settings to accommodate more aggressive riders. The bottom-link design lowers the centre of gravity, making the dirt bike feel lighter and easier to handle.
33mm Conventional Fork
The new front fork springs and damping settings further reduce bottoming. The new large 33 mm inner tubes assure rigidity for better handling on rough courses.

Black Alumite-Coated Aluminium Rims
The new aluminium rims reduce unsprung weight, and their increased strength improves durability like in 2023 Kawasaki KX65.
Few Mechanical Problems & Known Weak Points
Engine & Power Delivery
Some riders report issues with engine stalling or poor throttle response. Symptoms include hesitation during acceleration and difficulty maintaining steady speed. It happens due to a clogged air filter or improper carburettor tuning. Regularly cleaning of the air filter and ensure the carburettor is properly adjusted to help prevent these issues.

Fueling or Intake Issues
Fuel leaks or inconsistent fuel delivery are other widely discussed issues on social media and forums that can lead to performance problems. Common symptoms include hard starting and erratic engine behaviour. These issues may arise from worn fuel lines or a faulty petcock. Regular inspection is required to address these issues, and replacing faulty components can help.
Suspension Problems
Some riders have reported a harsh ride due to inadequate suspension settings. Symptoms include bottoming out on jumps and extremely poor handling. This often results from incorrect sag settings or consistently using worn suspension components. Regularly check and adjust the suspension setup to improve damping and enhance ride quality.
Electrical or Starting Issues
Electrical problems may cause difficulty starting or intermittent power loss. Common symptoms may include a non-responsive starter or flickering lights. These issues can indicate a weak battery or corroded connections. Therefore, ensuring the battery is charged and the connections are clean may help reduce these problems.
Transmission or Clutch Concerns
Some riders also reported difficulty shifting gears or clutch slippage, which can reduce acceleration. Symptoms include loud grinding during shifts or reduced power transfer. These issues may arise from low transmission fluid or a worn clutch system. Regular fluid changes and clutch adjustments can help ensure smooth operation.

Brakes or Handling
Brake fade or sponginess can badly affect stopping power. Symptoms include a soft brake lever or longer stopping distances. Air in the brake lines or worn brake pads can cause it. Bleeding the brake system and replacing worn brake pads as needed can improve braking performance.
Chassis, Plastics, or Hardware Weak Points
Cracks in the plastics or extremely loose hardware can create serious durability concerns. Symptoms include rattling noises or any visible damage. These issues often come from rough riding, and regular inspections and tightening bolts can help maintain the integrity of the 2024 Kawasaki KX65 Dirt Motorcycle.
