2024 Kawasaki KLX230R Dirt Bike – Features and Specs
The new 2024 Kawasaki KLX230R Dirt Bike features a long-stroke engine that offers ample low-mid-range torque for low-speed control and better pull at smaller throttle openings. The motorcycle features a simple air-cooled SOHC design that makes maintenance easy.
Furthermore, Digital Fuel Injection (DFI) (KP) provides precise throttle response for better trail control. The new fuel injection system delivers stable fuel by automatically adjusting for air temperature and altitude changes, helping reduce emissions. The DFI system delivers consistent, effortless starting whether the engine is hot or cold, and it pairs with an electric starter button for extremely easy starting.

Additionally, the new tuned exhaust improves the engine’s easy-to-use performance, and an all-new tapered muffler with an oval cross-section helps deliver a strong off-road image. A smooth-shifting 6-speed transmission, paired with short final gearing, complements the engine’s low-mid range power and makes tight trails easier to navigate.

Engine Features
The new 2024 Kawasaki KLX230R Dirt Bike features a high-tensile steel perimeter frame designed to enhance trail performance and build rider confidence. The new frame and engine were designed together. The engine height was minimised to create an optimal frame line for ideal rigidity and an accurately positioned centre of gravity.
The frame was also designed so the rider can easily grip it using their legs for better control and feedback. Flush seams between the shrouds, side covers, and seat, combined with a relatively flat seat design, also improve rider control and offer freedom of movement. The short wheelbase further improves manoeuvrability on the trail. Long-travel suspension adds ample ground clearance for better trail-riding performance better than 2023 Kawasaki KLX230R.
An all-new Uni-Trak (KP) rear suspension system offers a supple ride over small bumps without surrendering stiffness when absorbing bigger hits. The gas-pressurised single rear shock is preload-adjustable so riders can set the motorcycle up for their weight. The new petal disc brakes give sure stopping power.

The new full-size aluminium wheel, 21 inches in the front section and 18 inches in the rear, improves trail-riding performance. The new Kawasaki KX styling influences give an agile, aggressive image. The large, bright headlight with the new 55/60W halogen element provides excellent illumination.
