Cylinder Head
The Unicam® cylinder head design positions the decompressor system’s counterweight on the left end of the camshaft, improving combustion stability at very low rpm and producing strong but predictable power—especially when exiting corners—while also resisting stalling. Following Team Honda HRC’s lead, engineers optimized the cam profile for improved low-end torque. The 2024 Honda CRF450RWE Dirt Bike’s cylinder head includes hand-polished ports for precise power delivery. Like before, the magnesium cylinder head cover uses a thin-wall design to reduce weight.
Intake

The Works Edition features a TwinAir air filter, which is easily accessible by removing just one side-panel bolt. The 60º fuel-injector angle sprays directly to the back of the butterfly valve, cooling the intake tract for maximum efficiency and torque response.
Exhaust
Staying true to its “Works Edition” name, the new 2024 Honda CRF450RWE Dirt Bike includes a Yoshimura exhaust system with a stainless-steel header and titanium muffler. The Pro-Link rear suspension features a Showa shock with right-side adjusters and an ultra-light steel spring. A 49mm inverted Showa coil-spring fork with a gas-liquid separation system ensures balanced performance. Titanium-oxide coatings on the fork legs and shock shaft reduce friction, while the outer fork tubes use Kashima coating for durability and that premium Works Edition finish. Design
The 2024 Honda CRF450RWE Dirt Bike’s sleek bodywork allows effortless rider movement and smooth transitions between the radiator shrouds and side panels. Each shroud is moulded from a single piece, while CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) design optimises the air vents for improved cooling. The radiator grills are shaped for maximum airflow and efficiency.
The seat base features rear-facing tongues and forward mounting tabs, making installation easy while keeping the seat secure under acceleration. The 2024 Honda CRF450RWE Dirt Bike also has a standard Throttle Jockey gripper seat cover. Its 1.7-gallon fuel tank is constructed from lightweight titanium for durability and reduced mass.
Only eight bolts secure the main bodywork—two radiator shrouds, two side panels, and the seat—all using 8 mm heads to simplify maintenance.
A single control cluster integrates engine stop, ride modes, and new Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC). The brand new starter and HRC Launch Control are on the right side of the Renthal Fatbar handlebar. The handlebar clamp offers two mounting points and can be rotated 180º, giving riders four total adjustment options across a 26 mm range.
