Assist & Slipper Clutch

Based on racing action data, Assist & Sleeper Clutch combines two types of new cams to hold the clutch hub and an operation plate together or apart.

The assist cam acts as a self-serving instrument in regular operation, dragging the clutch hub and an operating plate together and compressing the clutch plates. It decreases the load of the clutch spring, ensuing in a lighter clutch lever when applying the clutch.

The sleeper cam involves when the clutch hub and operation plate are separated by severe engine braking, which may result in a sharp downshift (or inadvertent downshift).

Electronic Throttle Valves

The ECU, including Kawasaki’s fully electronic throttle activation system, can manage fuel volume (via fuel injectors) and air (through throttle valves) supplying the engine. Smooth, natural engine response and an optimal engine performance are achieved by outstanding fuel injection and throttle valve position. Technology also plays an essential role in reducing emissions.

KLCM (Kawasaki Launch Control Mode)

The KLCM automatically controls the engine’s output to prevent the wheel from spinning and assists riders by improving stop-to-acceleration. When the clutch lever is pushed in, and the system is turned on, the engine speed is limited to a specific rate while the rider retains full power. The engine speed is allowed to increase once the rider releases the clutch lever to attach the clutch, but the emphasis is adjusted to prevent the wheel from spinning and to keep the front wheel on the ground. When the rider goes into third gear or reaches a certain speed, the device automatically disconnects.

Power Modes

Models with multiple power modes offer the riders quickly selected power delivery according to their riding preferences. In addition to the full power mode, one or two additional methods limit the peak power and soften the throttle response.

Supercharged Engine

The most important advantage of designing an in-house supercharger and adapting it to engine features was that engineers could achieve high-performance operation under a wide range of conditions, which would not be possible if an aftermarket automotive was a supercharger. I was dropped or molded.

Significance depends on the magnitude of the reaction on the supercharger. While many superchargers can operate at high efficiency only in tight conditions, the Kawasaki supercharger can work with greater efficiency in a wide range of pressure ratios and flow rates, which means that this engine can operate on a wide range of vehicle speeds. This wide range of efficient work (equivalent to having a wide power band) is related to instantaneous speed. Due to the high efficiency and low heat of the supercharger, an intercooler was not required, reducing the weight and space and allowing the compact design of the engine.

Economical Riding Indicator

Kawasaki models can reach the greatest fuel efficiency level thanks to high-precision electronic engine management. Gear selection, throttle usage, and some other factors monitoring the rider, however, significantly affect fuel consumption. The Economic Riding Indicator is a feature that indicates that a bit of gasoline is being used in the current riding conditions. The device continuously examines fuel usage regardless of vehicle speed, throttle position, engine speed, or other riding conditions. An “ECO” indicator seems on the LCD when the fuel consumption for a particular rate is low. Fuel consumption can be decreased by riding with the “ECO” signal on.
