Suspension & Wheels

The front and rear suspension settings of the redesigned frame work together to make the car feel more rooted. With 200mm suspension travel, 41mm front forks handle suspension responsibilities from the front and offer the rigidity required for optimal performance, meeting on-and-off-road riding requirements. Firm fork springs offer robust collision compliance and batting resistance, as well as reduce front and dip when applying hard brakes.

At the rear, the 185mm adjustable Unitrack suspension system corresponds to the front fork settings, providing rear suspension action while contributing to the lower center of gravity. Strong rear shock settings help to avoid falling into rocky terrain by adjusting large loads.

Naturally, the straight ride position has been adjusted, and the vibration reduced to make long-distance exploration more enjoyable. For 2022, the KLR650 is designed to provide a pressure-free place for a long rotation.
