Few V-twin cruisers combine understated styling and proven reliability as effectively as the Shadow Phantom. For 2024, the new 2024 Honda Shadow Phantom Cruiser receives a series of updates that enhance both its classic bobber-inspired appearance and overall performance. A two-tone fuel tank is now complemented by a new handlebar and handlebar clamps, an updated headlight cover, a redesigned air-cleaner cover, revised display instruments, new turn signals and machine-cut cylinder-head fins. These refinements further strengthen its timeless visual appeal.
Comfort has also been improved with a redesigned single seat intended to support longer, relaxed rides. For riders who wish to travel with a passenger, an optional passenger seat and footpegs are available. A new ABS version joins the lineup for 2024, and both the standard and ABS models now feature a rear disc brake. As with all Honda models, the Shadow Phantom is built with a strong emphasis on durability, quality and reliability, offering riders confidence and peace of mind on every journey.

For the 2024 model year, the Phantom benefits from a newly added rear disc brake that delivers strong, predictable stopping performance. The introduction of this rear disc also makes optional anti-lock braking available. Styling updates include revised paint and graphics, a new headlight cover, machined-edge cylinder-head fins, an updated air-cleaner cover and refreshed instrumentation. A new solo seat is standard equipment, while an accessory passenger seat and footpegs can be added according to rider preference. Additional changes include new fork-leg covers and front and rear LED turn signals.

All LED Lighting
For 2024, the Honda Shadow Phantom Cruiser features LED turn signals at both the front and rear, contributing to a cleaner, more modern appearance.
New Cylinder-Fin Highlights
While the motorcycle maintains its dark, blacked-out theme, the addition of machined-edge cylinder-head fins introduces subtle contrast. This detail draws attention to the engine without disrupting the overall design.
New Front Fenders
Updated front and rear fenders play an important role in reinforcing the 2024 Honda Shadow Phantom Cruiser’s contemporary and muscular stance while preserving its minimalist aesthetic.
Spoked Wheels
Black-spoked wheels and matching hubs complete the custom-inspired look and add to the motorcycle’s overall character.
Low Seat Height
The 2024 Honda Shadow Phantom Cruiser’s low seat height allows riders to place their feet firmly on the ground at stops. The narrow junction between the seat and tank enhances this sense of accessibility.

Solo Saddle
The standard one-piece solo seat offers a clean appearance and supportive comfort. Riders wishing to carry a passenger can install the available accessory passenger seat and footpegs.

Shaft Final Drive
The shaft final-drive system delivers smooth, quiet and low-maintenance operation. It eliminates the need for regular chain lubrication or adjustment and helps keep the motorcycle cleaner during extended use.
Five-Speed Transmission
The wide-ratio five-speed transmission enables relaxed cruising at lower speeds while still providing comfortable highway capability without excessive engine revs.
Engine / Drivetrain
The 745cc liquid-cooled V-twin engine delivers strong performance across a broad rpm range. Its long-stroke crankshaft design produces the characteristic V-twin feel and emphasises low-rpm torque. The engine features a three-valve, dual-plug combustion chamber and is paired with a wide-ratio five-speed transmission. A shaft final-drive system ensures smooth and reliable operation with minimal maintenance requirements. Programmed Fuel Injection (PGM-FI) provides consistent throttle response and efficient fuel delivery.
Chassis / Suspension
The 2024 Honda Shadow Phantom Cruiser maintains its bobber-inspired styling with extensive blacked-out and matte finishes. Updated minimalist front and rear fenders, a revised headlight cover, a new handlebar and handlebar clamps, and updated fork boot covers refine both appearance and rider comfort. The cylinder head now incorporates machine-cut fins that contrast with the black engine surfaces.
The front suspension consists of a sturdy 41mm fork with large-diameter matte-finished shrouds and a substantial billet-aluminium triple clamp, which contribute to confident, neutral handling. At the rear, a dual-shock suspension system offers five-position spring preload adjustment to accommodate varying rider preferences and conditions.
Braking performance has been enhanced with a new single rear disc brake fitted to both the standard and ABS versions. At the front, a single disc brake with a twin-piston calliper operates on a 296mm drilled rotor with sintered metal pads. The shaft final-drive system continues to provide smooth and dependable operation.

Black spoked wheels are fitted with a 120/90-17 front tyre and a 160/80-15 rear tyre, reinforcing the motorcycle’s custom look. The seat height measures a low 25.6 inches. The updated single seat is standard, with an optional passenger seat available. The tank-mounted display instruments have been refreshed, and the motorcycle is equipped with a stylish 3.7-gallon fuel tank. New LED front and rear turn signals complete the updates.
