We don’t boast, but with a trophy cabinet ready to rip seams, the 2024 KTM 450 SX-F Dirt Bike embodies a stage hunter. Over the last 7 seasons, the 2024 KTM 450 SX-F has already learned from previous championships, with 5 AMA 450 Supercross titles. It’s time to expand the trophy room.
The KTM SX-F stable is recognised as the most technologically advanced motocross range and is therefore dominant. Few machines can keep up with advances like launch Control, Traction Control, and a standard quickshifter.

2024 KTM 450 SX-F Dirt Bike – Features and Specs
Easy Suspension Adjustment
Get dialled in! With a completely tool-free suspension on both ends, the 2024 KTM 450 SX-F Dirt Bike comes. With a hand-adjustable double-compression control, the shock absorber lets riders set high and low speeds in seconds. The forks are easy to adjust with a single air-pressure preload valve, and the compression and rebound controls are easy to access with a click. We’ll even need to drop in the air pump as standard.

Air filter box
The air filter box was designed to ensure maximum flow, precisely position the inlet ducts to prevent air deformation, and protect the filter. The Twin Air filter and air filter support design includes a simple, fail-proof fitting system that provides a secure, precise filter system and makes it easier to access the air filter without tools by removing the left-side panel for easy track maintenance. For all SX and SX-F models, a ventilation filter cover is included in the packaging.
Serviceability
The 2024 KTM 450 SX-F Dirt Bike is designed to give riders easy access to service parts and suspension adjustability. This speeds maintenance on the track and off-season, making motocross more accessible for novice riders without pit crews.
Selectable Maps + TC
The 2024 KTM 450 SX-F Dirt Bike card selector has a simpler design, making it easier to switch between 2 engine cards. Map 2 offers aggressive total gas and explosive power, while Map 1 delivers a more linear output curve. Fortunately, you can switch traction control on or off with a simple switch, giving you maximum traction and a clear advantage in wet or muddy conditions.

More Usable Power
When war drums sound and the gate falls, you should bring the first one out to rule over the rooster. The 2024 KTM 450 SX-F Dirt Bike has one of the most powerful 4-stroke power plants in the pits. The SOHC engine is a perfect example of advanced technology. With an enormous power in a lightweight package, you leave the competition with more than a bit of mud on your face.
Launch Control & Quickshifter
Launch control, ENGAGED! Launch control and Quickshifter are standard on 2024 KTM 450 SX-F Dirt Bike boreholes, enabling rapid acceleration without a clutch. Turn on Launch Control by pressing the Launch Control and Quickshifter buttons at the same time, engaging rear-wheel power to improve traction and prevent wheelspin at high speeds. So you’re going fast, the Quickshifter lets you shift from 2nd to 5th gear with your focus better than 2023 KTM 450 SX-F.
Absolute Control
No matter how gnarly the track, you’ll feel confident thanks to a frame designed for longitudinal stiffness and rotary mass closer to its centre of gravity. The shock bracket also features improved anti-squat behaviour for better traction from corners, while the foot and shoe mounting position has moved inwards for less danger, deep tails or in the sponge jump.
Ergonomics
The rider triangle provides sufficient knee contact, especially when standing on the pins, for enough grip. The plastic sheds mud in wet, muddy conditions, with a flat seat profile and high-grip covering that offers exceptional rider movement and control. The polyamide-reinforced aluminium subframe further improves the ride quality and feedback.
Performance
The new 2024 KTM 450 SX-F Dirt Bike engine position significantly improves mass centralisation, reducing total weight while improving handling and anti-squat behaviour.
Mass Centralization
Are you willing to pop your shoulder out of its socket? Changing the backbone of the steel frame concept can greatly improve the chassis’s anti-squat behaviour, mass centralisation, and overall weight. If it breaks from the corner, the 2024 KTM 450 SX-F Dirt Bike gets its power in amateur terms perfect.
WP XACT Fork
The 48mm air-type WP XACT front fork, with a split-damper feature, gives you the confidence to attack the track. Hydro stops in the fork legs increase resistance to lowering and reduce rebound during attacks on large jumps, bumps and bumps. The newly designed safety rings also increase protection against dirt and make them astonishingly reliable.

Stability
Thanks to a new position and forged headstock. The 2024 KTM 450 SX-F Dirt Bike is always rock solid at any speed, thanks to its CNC triple clamps. These features, crafted from high-grade aluminium, deliver optimal steering control, an ideal fork tube, and precise geometric clamping for high sensitivity, smooth handling, and insatiable stability through corners and at the rostrum.
Consistency
A WP XACT shock absorber delivers unprecedented round-to-round consistency thanks to low-friction SKF connection seals and advanced damping for unsurpassed traction and energy absorption.
Energy absorption
The frame is designed to match the specific characteristics of linear and torsion flex. It also features highly built, hydro-formed, laser-cut,, and robot-welded frames designed for exceptional driver feedback and straight-line stability. That means the frame acts as a “shock absorber”, delivering a tougher ride, less fatigue, and plenty of hard laps.
Ground clearance
No one enjoys bad connections. Luckily, the frame and shock-absorber geometry on the 2024 KTM 450 SX-F Dirt Bike improve linkage ground clearance, with topology-optimised die-cast footpegs that are less likely to hook in deep ruts and take off when scrubbing.
