The Technique
The new 2024 Ducati Scrambler Full Throttle Urban Bike has been extensively updated and lightened by 8.8 lb (4 kg), resulting in a motorcycle that is noticeably easier to ride. The trellis frame remains but has been redesigned and lightened, while the updated swingarm and repositioned rear shock improve balance and handling. Engine refinements further contribute to the overall weight reduction and enhanced rideability. For custom builders, the rear subframe is now easily removable without altering the main frame.

Handling improvements also come from a slightly increased steering angle, providing greater control. The wheels are newly designed, measuring 18 inches at the front and 17 inches at the rear. The Desmodue engine has been modernised and lightened by approximately 5.5 lb and now features a new eight-disc clutch that delivers a lighter, smoother action. Its more compact design creates additional foot space, while a bearing-mounted shift drum improves shifting precision.
All of these updates combine to make the new 2024 Ducati Scrambler Full Throttle Urban Bike a benchmark in its category.
Ride-by-wire throttle management enhances both performance and safety, delivering smooth and controllable response at all engine speeds. It enables Ducati Traction Control and two Riding Modes, Road and Wet, with Wet mode specifically calibrated for low-grip conditions. Standard equipment also includes Cornering ABS for increased braking safety while leaned over.
Ride-by-wire technology also allows the Desmodue engine to be equipped with a Quick Shift up/down system, which comes as standard on the Full Throttle. The Ducati Multimedia System is available as an accessory, enabling smartphone connectivity for music and calls. The air-cooled two-valve twin-cylinder engine produces 73 hp.
Racing mood
The new 2024 Ducati Scrambler Full Throttle Urban Bike’s racing character is emphasised by the sump guard, lower handlebars, shorter front fender, absence of a rear fender and red wheel tags that highlight its true flat-track-inspired attitude.
Braap!
The bike’s sprint-ready personality is reinforced by a homologated Termignoni silencer, delivering a distinctive and engaging exhaust note.
