The lightweight plastic tank is a milestone for weight savings and design. It is 62% lighter than a steel tank yet still holds 14.5 litres, which is plenty for adventure rides. The rear section is slim overall, making the GS feel light. You can easily mount soft bags, backpacks, or aluminium cases here.
The Enduro Pro package is ideal for riders who prefer dirt to tarmac. It includes black handlebars with forged aluminium risers, raising the bars 24 millimetres above standard. It also adds a sport suspension with a fully adjustable 45 mm golden Showa fork and a fully adjustable Sachs shock with an external reservoir. A durable M Endurance chain completes the package.
The dynamics package adds Riding Modes Pro and Shift Assistant Pro to enhance safety and athletic performance. You can select “Rain” for wet roads and “Road” for dry conditions. With “Dynamic,” you extract maximum performance on asphalt, while “Enduro” sets the bike for off-road routes. Shift Assistant Pro gives extra control in unexpected situations.

Dynamic ESA (Electronic Suspension Adjustment) is optional equipment for the all-new 2024 BMW F 900 GS Adventure Motorcycle and the F 800 GS.
Optimized ergonomics
The 2024 BMW F 900 GS Adventure Motorcycle’s increased off-road focus is clear in the ergonomics triangle—handlebar, seat, and footrests—optimized for off-road. Lower footrests, a higher handlebar position, and the reshaped fuel tank give clear advantages, especially when riding on rough ground.
All three new models include an adjustable gearshift lever as standard. With improved bearings and new lever kinematics, shifting the six-speed transmission is even more precise. The 2024 BMW F 900 GS Adventure Motorcycle also has a foot brake lever positioned higher.
New LED headlight
The 2024 BMW F 900 GS Adventure Motorcycle LED headlight offers a wider low-beam spread compared to the prior model, which provides better illumination directly in front of the bike. An all-new 2024 BMW F 900 GS Adventure Motorcycle and the F 800 GS also have LED headlights as standard. In addition, all three models’ turn indicators and control lights use LED technology.
Connectivity
Each new F-series GS features a large 6.5-inch TFT display as standard. This is a significant step for the 2024 BMW F 900 GS Adventure Motorcycle, which used an analogue cluster previously. The information depth, display quality, and user-friendliness are outstanding. Calling, listening to songs, and navigating while riding are very convenient. New close-fitting tank side panels and a new radiator trim create a sleek, sporty, off-road-oriented appearance.
The narrower and more dynamic rear section also expresses its off-road intent. The sporty Akrapovič rear silencer further enhances the dynamic look. An all-new 2024 BMW F 900 GS Adventure Motorcycle is offered as a base version in Blackstorm metallic, as a Passion model in São Paulo yellow solid paint, and as a GS Trophy version in Lightwhite solid paint/Racing Blue metallic.
