Engine / Drivetrain
The 2024 Honda CRF250RX Dirt Motorcycle has a 249 cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder, double-overhead-cam engine with four valves. It is designed for strong low-end torque, mid-range performance, and high durability.
Intake
The airbox design increases capacity, especially on the clean side of the filter. The 60-degree angled fuel injector sprays fuel efficiently, cooling the intake and improving torque at low revs. The throttle bore measures 44 mm. The air filter has a spring-loaded clip for easy maintenance.
Head
The cylinder head has four titanium valves: 33 mm intake valves and 26 mm exhaust valves. The intake valves use dual springs to ensure accurate movement at high rpm. The camshaft sprocket is press-fit for precise timing and low weight. The design ensures durability, accuracy, and reduced friction. The bore is 79 mm, the stroke is 50.9 mm, and the compression ratio is 13.9:1. The water-pump gear is thicker for added strength.
Exhaust
The exhaust uses a single straight port for strong torque and smooth performance at low rpm. The header is close to the engine for a narrow profile, and the muffler is optimised for torque.
Electronics
The ECU provides the best air/fuel mixture and ignition timing at all speeds. Launch control, inspired by HRC racing, makes quick starts easier.
Clutch
The clutch has nine discs to spread pressure, making it durable and efficient. It uses a rigid basket and a friction spring to reduce load, with optimised lubrication to minimise wear.
Transmission
The five-speed gearbox is designed for smooth shifting, especially between second and third gears. The countershaft is strong, and the shift drum is lightweight for accuracy.
Chassis / Suspension
The CRF250RX is designed for stable tracking, precise turns, and excellent straight-line stability. It has a low weight, which improves manoeuvrability.
The wheelbase measures 58.1 inches, rake is 27.32 degrees, trail is 115 mm, seat height is 37.8-inch, and ground clearance is 13.1-inch, ensuring the best riding pleasure.
Frame / Subframe
The lightweight aluminium frame has curved main spars with small cross-sections and optimised ribs for stability and handling. The subframe is lightweight and straightforward, with no separate seat support.
Suspension
The 49 mm Showa fork is fully adjustable and has 12.2 inches of travel. It is designed to give excellent grip, smooth impact absorption, and sharp cornering. The rear Pro-Link suspension has a Showa shock with 12.3 inches of travel and an ultra-light steel spring. The narrow swingarm gives more clearance in ruts.

Wheels
The new 2024 Honda CRF250RX Dirt Motorcycle has black D.I.D. rims features a 21-inch front and 18-inch rear. The 260mm front and 240mm rear disc brakes use petal-style rotors for better cooling. It comes with Dunlop Geomax AT81 tyres, which are durable and perform well in off-road racing.
Design
The 2024 Honda CRF250RX Dirt Motorcycle has a rider-focused design. Its narrow body, flat seat, and smooth side panel joints make it easy to shift positions when riding. The radiator shrouds have vents designed with fluid dynamics for cooling, and the lightweight titanium fuel tank holds 1.7 gallons.
The seat is easy to install and stays secure under acceleration. Only 10 bolts hold the main bodywork, making maintenance simple. The Renthal Fatbar handlebar can be adjusted to four different positions for comfort.
