2023 Kawasaki Vulcan 900 Custom Cruiser – Features and Specs
903cc V-Twin, SOHC Engine
It is adjusted to produce a lot of torque at low speeds. The new 2023 Kawasaki Vulcan 900 Custom Cruiser offers reliable and smooth riding experience. A gear-driven balancer makes the use of a single-pin crankshaft possible, allowing for that vintage V-twin rumbling without excessive vibration.

Liquid and Air Cooling
Superior thermal management is achieved by combining liquid cooling fan cylinders and heads. The automatic fan keeps the engine running at a constant temperature for long engine life and consistent power. Despite the traffic, the fan maintains a relaxed environment. A warning light for temperature is also included like in 2022 Kawasaki Vulcan 900 Custom.
Rubber-Mounted Engine
The new Rubber-mounted engine easily removes vibration from the engine at all speeds.
Positive Neutral Finder
Lift the shift pedal from first gear when stopped to pick neutral every time quickly.
Digital Fuel Injection
Dual Throttle Valves (KP) offer the best possible ride and performance. The ECU regulates the sub-throttles located behind the main throttle valve, enabling the DFI® system to maintain a more precise throttle response, similar to a constant-speed carburetor. The fuel mist produced by the fine-atomizing fuel injector improves combustion, acceleration, and fuel efficiency.
Kevlar-Reinforced Belt Drive
Unsprung weight reduction compared to shaft drive for improved suspension action and ride quality. Compared to shaft drive, more efficient, meaning more power goes to the rear wheel. Less maintenance and cleaner than a chain drive.
Double Cradle Frame
The large-diameter box section’s backbone stiffness enables the use of a large fuel tank and enhances low-speed handling lightness and stability. The triangular swingarm is similar in shape to the hardtail but operates from a single shock that tucks under the seat.
It is tall and low to maximize visual impact at the lowest possible seat height. The frame shape and fork offset work together to provide light and effortless handling at very low speeds. The long wheelbase improves stability on the highway.
Low Stepped Seat
The seat height, about 27 inches, makes it easy for riders to put both feet down when stopped. The new 2023 Kawasaki Vulcan 900 Custom Cruiser offers a comfortable and relaxing ride for two.
Front and Rear Disc Brakes
Twin-piston calipers on 270mm rear and 300mm front discs provide the strongest stopping power in the class.
21-inch Front Wheel
The hand-designed cast wheel’s eighteen “spokes” are flanged in two directions and tapered to give it a luxurious, custom look. It has a slim profile that resembles an authentic American helicopter.
Wide Rear Tire
Besides adding stability, the 180mm rear tire mounted on sturdy 15-inch cast wheels projects a strong image. Tires that are wider than the majority of large-displacement cruisers.
Wider tires than other large displacement cruisers. The 180mm rear tire adds stability while creating a powerful image.
Spoke Wheels
Retro-inspired spokes and rims made of chromed steel. Polished metal front hub in “spool style.”
