This bike’s strong spirit and modern lines bring Aprilia’s winning track experience to the road, making an impression everywhere it travels. Lightweight, small, and agile volumes result from its unique design. At high speeds, it’s all about generating a positive and enjoyable experience.
New Riding Experience
The rider’s posture has been meticulously crafted to provide a comfortable ride and an optimal frontal weight distribution. A dynamic riding posture is achieved by using a saddle, footpegs, and clip-on handlebars that are ideally balanced. With the addition of five predetermined riding modes for diverse track and road situations, you have all the components for an exhilarating ride.
Multimap Cornering ABS
The RS 660’s advanced multimap Cornering ABS guarantees optimum safety on the road without sacrificing the bike’s power. The brake action is modified to generate the appropriate deceleration and stability ratio while optimizing ABS intervention using a sophisticated algorithm that continually checks several characteristics such as lateral acceleration, pressure applied to the front brake, lean, pitch and yaw.
An advanced electronic control system, initially designed for racing, has been fine-tuned for road usage. To assure safety on the road and better performance on the track, this is a complete package.
The APRC (Aprilia Performance Ride Control) electronic control system is included on the RS 660. Six-axis inertial navigation employs internal gyroscopes and acceleration sensors to monitor the engine’s position related to the road and make quick changes to assist enhance both the performance and safety of the vehicle in real-time.
