The 2024 Ducati Panigale V4 SP2 Sports Motorcycle is the flagship of Ducati’s supersport range, offering a highly focused, track-oriented version engineered to deliver sharper performance while remaining intuitive and less physically demanding for riders of varying skill levels.
It stands out with its distinctive “Winter Test” livery, featuring matte-black bodywork paired with matte carbon-fibre wheels and wings, offset by red accents and an exposed brushed-aluminium fuel tank. Powered by the MotoGP-derived 1,103 cc Desmosedici Stradale engine and equipped with carbon-fibre rims, Brembo Stylema R® brake callipers, an MCS radial master cylinder, a dry clutch, a 520 chain drive, billet footpegs and a dedicated track-use kit, the 2024 Ducati Panigale V4 SP2 Sports Motorcycle specification maximises the racing DNA of the Panigale V4 while integrating the latest technical developments.

2024 Ducati Panigale V4 SP2 Sports Motorcycle – Features and Specs
Designed for those who want to rule the track
Produced as a numbered series, the 2024 Ducati Panigale V4 SP2 Sports Motorcycle is developed specifically for riders seeking an immersive track experience. It builds upon the 2022 Panigale V4 platform, which introduced major advancements across aerodynamics, ergonomics, engine performance, chassis balance and electronic systems.
Engine
At its core lies the 1,103 cc Desmosedici Stradale V4 engine derived directly from MotoGP technology. Featuring a counter-rotating crankshaft, it delivers strong torque from low revs while maintaining the ability to perform at the highest levels on track.

For 2022, the engine received technical refinements that enhanced power output and improved throttle responsiveness. These updates, combined with revised mapping, enabled the introduction of gear-specific torque curves and four Power Modes—Full, High, Medium and Low. The Full and Low modes are newly developed, while High and Medium benefit from an updated control strategy.

STM-EVO SBK Dry Clutch
The connection to Ducati’s World Superbike racing machines is reinforced by the inclusion of a more track-focused gearbox, complemented by a lightweight 520 final drive chain and the STM-EVO SBK dry clutch.
Livery
The “Winter Test” livery blends matte-black fairings with carbon-fibre finishes on the wheels and aerodynamic wings, contrasted by bright-red highlights and the exposed aluminium tank. Double-profile wings carry the Italian flag motif seen on the Panigale V4 R SBK, while the lower fairing features Ducati Corse branding, redesigned hot air extractors, and a red model name detail that is echoed on the dual-material saddle.
Chassis
The chassis employs an aluminium front frame that uses the Desmosedici Stradale engine as a stressed structural element. The aluminium swingarm and shell-cast seat post connect directly to the engine, while the swingarm pivot is positioned to enhance anti-squat characteristics, reducing rear-end compression under acceleration and improving stability when exiting corners.
Suspension is centred on an electronically controlled Öhlins NPX25/30 pressurised front fork with 125 mm of travel, derived from racing applications and using a pressurised cartridge damping system.

Performance
To further elevate track capability, the 2024 Ducati Panigale V4 SP2 Sports Motorcycle is fitted with five-split-spoke carbon-fibre wheels that are 3.1 pounds lighter than the forged aluminium wheels of the Panigale V4 S. This reduction contributes to lower rotational inertia, improving agility, easing directional changes and enhancing cornering precision.
Carbon Fibre Rims
The carbon wheels deliver measurable reductions in inertia—26 per cent at the front and 46 per cent at the rear—resulting in more responsive handling and reduced effort during transitions.

Braking system
Braking performance is handled by Brembo Stylema R front callipers, designed to deliver strong stopping power with consistent performance even during extended track sessions. These are operated via a Brembo MCS radial master cylinder, which allows quick adjustment of braking feel through three selectable configurations.
A remote adjuster on the left handlebar enables on-the-fly lever position changes, similar to racing setups, while milled brake and clutch levers help reduce aerodynamic drag.

Rizoma Footpegs
Anodised aluminium Rizoma footpegs with carbon-fibre heel guards provide secure grip for high-performance riding. These components also support the revised ergonomics introduced in 2022 through updated tank and seat shapes, improving rider control during both single laps and longer track sessions.
Suspension
The Öhlins NPX25/30 front fork works in conjunction with an Öhlins TTX36 rear shock and electronic steering damper, forming the second-generation Smart EC 2.0 system. Using Objective-Based Tuning Interface logic, this setup allows riders to adjust suspension behaviour through defined performance goals rather than traditional manual settings.
TFT Track Evo
The 2024 Ducati Panigale V4 SP2 Sports Motorcycle’s electronics are displayed via the Track Evo dashboard mode, inspired by MotoGP layouts. In this configuration, the tachometer appears along a horizontal scale at the top of the screen, while gear position is centrally displayed.
On the right, four coloured indicators represent electronic systems, including traction control, wheelie control, slide control, and engine braking control. These illuminate individually during operation, helping riders quickly identify active interventions. The left section provides lap timing, completed laps and speed data.
Ducati Data Analyser with GPS
The SP2 includes a standard GPS module enabling automatic lap timing with real-time split data. When paired with the optional Ducati Performance Slick Software, traction control curves tailored for slick and rain tyres become available, along with the ability to store data for up to five tracks and create five additional custom riding modes.

Electronic Control
A six-axis inertial measurement unit underpins the latest-generation electronic suite, continuously monitoring roll, yaw and pitch. This system governs multiple riding parameters for four preset Riding Modes: Race A, Race B, Sport, and Street.
