Beta never stops honing the frame and suspensions of its bikes. In the quest for even sharper, purer rider response, Betamotor’s engineers have totally revised the internals of the front fork – a ZF component, as on the previous generation – of the 2023 models of the RR family. The 2023 Beta RR 4T 480 Off-Road Bike’s features and specifications are reviewed below.
2023 Beta RR 4T 480 Off-Road Bike – Features and Specs
Engine and Transmission
The new 2023 Beta RR 4T 480 Off-Road Bike has a titanium-valved, single-cylinder four-stroke engine that displaces 477.5 cc and has a compression ratio of 11.9:1. It has a fuel system controlled by Double Overhead Cams/Twin Cam injection and Elldor dual electronic injection. A chain gearbox and a 6-speed gearbox complement the engine’s liquid cooling better than 2021 Beta RR 4T 480.
Chassis, Suspension, Brakes and Wheels
The molybdenum steel frame of the motorbike assures the bike’s stability and longevity thanks to a double cradle split located just above the exhaust port. A hydraulic USD fork provides 295 mm of front suspension travel with a 48 mm shaft.
Monoshock with progressive compound lever offers 290 mm of travel at the rear. The bike has wire-spoked wheels with 90x90x21-inch (F) and 140x80x18-inch (R) tires in the front and rear. The braking system features a 240mm rear disc brake including a single-piston caliper and a 260mm front disc brake with dual-piston calipers.
Physical Measures and Capacities
The molybdenum steel frame of the motorcycle has a twin cradle construction, which increases its stability and longevity. Its 48 mm shaft hydraulic USD fork up front allows for 295 mm of wheel travel, making it a formidable off-road machine.
The mono-shock provides wheel travel of 290 mm with a progressive compound lever at the rear suspension. The front brakes guarantee the stopping power, a single disc with two-piston calipers and a 260 mm diameter, and the rear brakes, a single disc with a 240 mm diameter. The wire-spoked wheels give the bike a more industrial look.
The starting electric motorcycle is available in three sleek colors—red, white, and black—perfect for fashion-forward eco-rider.
