2021 Honda Gold Wing Touring Bike – Features and Specs
The six-cylinder, horizontally opposed Gold Wing engine is renowned for being smooth and powerful. With a 1833cc engine, the latest model is nearly 13 pounds lighter than the previous-generation model (over 8 pounds for DCT versions).
Aluminum Cylinder Sleeves
High-strength aluminum cylinder sleeves reduce weight, create better cooling, and smaller engines. The engine’s 73mm cylinder size and short, high-strength crankshaft both contribute to its compactness.
Unicam Cylinder Head Design
A four-valve, Unicam® cylinder head design is used in the Gold Wing’s power plant. It increases the power and efficiency of the engine while also helping to make it lighter than previous generations. The Gold Wing’s improved fuel efficiency is also largely attributed to its four-valve-per-cylinder design.
7-Speed Automatic DCT Transmission
An advanced 7-speed automatic DCT is a feature offered for the Gold Wing. This version’s shifts are quicker and smoother, and the overdrive seventh gear is perfect for highway driving.
6-Speed Manual Transmission
Do you want a manual transmission? The most oversized conventional gearbox in Gold Wing history is available in the latest models. Sixth gear with overdrive makes traveling along the highway smoother than ever.
Like our high-end sports bikes, our manual-transmission Gold Wings feature a slipper clutch. The 1833cc engine produces a ton of power, and the excellent chassis allows you to ride this Gold Wing like a sportbike, so it only makes sense. Curved roads? Let them come!

You can choose from four unique riding modes and a wide range of user-friendly power with Gold Wing engines (Tour, Sport, Rain, and Econ). Throttle by wire
The 2021 Gold Wing’s exclusive Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) is available on our Gold Wing Tour variants, and the bike’s four ride modes are made possible by throttle-by-wire technology.
Hill Start Assist
Hill Start Assist is a unique feature of the Gold Wing and Gold Wing Tour versions (HSA). This function prevents any rollback play by briefly tilting the position of your motorbike after you remove the brakes and before activating the throttle. If you are starting from a stop on the hill, this is a great convenience.
An intelligent electronic key is a feature of your new Gold Wing. You can get on the bus, press the button, and ride if the key is nearby (like in your jacket pocket). You can locate your bike even in dark or crowded rally parking using the “Spur Back” feature.
All 2021 Gold Wing models are equipped with a complete LED lighting system. All accessories including headlights and taillights are LED-based. In addition to longevity, LEDs are also lightweight and run cooler.
Nano polymer paint
The paint on the Gold Wing is also innovative, thanks to BASF’s use of nanotechnology. Lights appear brighter and darkness appears darker. The paint itself has a comfortable wet appearance.
